Independent tide predictions
Tidewell is an independent tide-prediction app. It is not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by any hydrographic office, port authority, or government agency. Tide predictions are calculated using standard harmonic methods and are estimates only.
Not for navigation
Independent tide-prediction app. Tide predictions are estimates and must not be used for navigation. Do not rely on Tidewell for navigation, diving, or any safety-critical decision. Always consult official marine charts, tide tables, and your local authority for those purposes.
Subscription (“{EXAM.name} Pro”)
Tidewell Pro is an auto-renewable subscription billed weekly at $2.99 (or the equivalent in your local currency), starting with a 7-day free trial. It unlocks unlimited favourite stations, the full widget suite and Lock Screen widgets, Apple Watch complications, tide alarms, 48-hour hourly charts, 12-month tide tables and extended solunar detail.
Billing, renewal and cancellation
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged within 24 hours before renewal. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your App Store account settings — cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period. If you cancel during the free trial you are not charged; any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple under the App Store terms and validated via RevenueCat; refunds are handled by Apple, not by us.
Acceptable use
The app and its content are for your personal use. You may not redistribute, resell, or scrape station or tide data from the app.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is”. While we work hard on prediction accuracy, we don’t warrant that any tide time is exact — actual water levels can differ due to weather, air pressure, and local conditions.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always posted at gettidewell.app/terms.
